Hot Girl Summer is still here...and it's not too late to make some significant changes with these 4 simple and easy to do tips to make sure your hair stays healthy, moisturized and thriving in these last few weeks of heat, sun, and fun.
Tip #1: WEAR A HAT
Protect your hair while in the sun for long periods of time..the sun can wreck havoc on your hair and dry it out.
Tip #2: CONDITION OFTEN
Find a hydrating, lightweight leave in conditioner that can be worn all day with almost any style and maintain regular deep conditioning sessions to keep hair moisturized and strong. Deep conditioning can be crucial in the overall health of your hair but truly helps you to achieve most of the most common goals we set out to achieve in our hair journey, whether is length, moisture retention or thicker, stronger strands.
Tip #3: HYDRATE
Hydrate from the inside out with drinking adequate amounts of water. One of the best rules of thumb to follow to make sure you are getting an adequate amount of water is to drink half your body weight in ounces a day.
Tip #4: "L.O.C." IN MOISTURE
Application of (L)iquid, (O)il and (C)ream, in that order, to maintain moisture. Apply a water based leave in conditioner first, followed by an oil for moisture, and lastly seal hair cuticle with a cream based product. Remember to protect your hair at night with your Glow by Daye Satin Bonnet to help your hair glide vs. cotton absorbing the moisture that you had to work so hard to get throughout your strand.
